YADON, WILLIAM L. “BILL”, 83, died Nov. 25 in Enid. Born in Enid Nov. 29, 1921 to Laura J. (Carter) and Roscoe B. Yadon, he attended school and jr. college in Woodward. He volunteered for the Navel Air Corp as a pilot an flew WWII patrols over the Atlantic and Central American waters. He married Wanda L. Kenton (Birdsong) on Aug. 20, 1946. After graduating from OU he was an auditor for the State Examiner and Inspectors office and a finance advisor for the State Dept. of Educ. He operated a private accounting business with Jerry Putnam. Bill and Wanda were avid OU fans. Preceded in death by Wanda and brothers R.B. and Carter, he is survived by daughter, Sharon Chesbro, Sand Springs; grandsons Steven Chesbro, Baltimore and Derek Chesbro, Tulsa; sister-in-law Marie Forcht and husband Robert, Asheville NC; nieces and nephews; Marilyn Yadon, Ada; Robert Yadon, Muncie, Ind.; Travis Yadon, Oklahoma City; Trent Yadon, Woodward; Don Forcht and Linda Koralik, Asheville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to OMRF. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Okla., No service is scheduled.
