Funeral services for Tim Myers, 43-year-old former Woodward resident, will be Thursday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church in Woodward. The Rev. Lonnie Rutherford and the Rev. Larry White will officiate. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Johnson’s Good Samaritan Funeral Service.

Timothy Ray Myers was born April 1, 1963 in Woodward, Okla., to Ray and Barbara (Lewis) Myers. He grew up in Woodward where his father Ray was assistant manager of J. C. Pennys and a school teacher and his mother operated Barbara’s Cake Delight. Tim graduated from the Woodward High School in 1981. He then went to work as a D. J. at radio stations in Crested Butte, Colo., and later in the Virgin Islands. Tim later went into the sales of time shares, working in Branson, Mo., Florida and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

Tim died Dec. 7 in Pensacola, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Rev. Ray and Barbara Myers of Pensacola, Fla., his fiancé Deborah Smith of Oklahoma City, a sister and her husband, Teri and James Ward of Boston, Mass.; a nephew and his wife Curry and Amber Ham and their two sons, Grayson and Connor, all of Woodward, and other relatives.
