MUTUAL – Second-ranked Fargo improved to 12-0 with a solid 75-47victory over Sharon-Mutual in 270 Conference basketball action Friday night.

The teams battled on nearly even terms for a quarter, but Fargo began to open the gap some early in the second period.

Luke Moyer finished with 22 for the Bearcats, who host Turpin tonight. Trey Long added 14 points and Trevor Long 12.

Devin Covalt paced Sharon-Mutual with 12 points.

In the girls game, Fargo got off to a strong start and beat Sharon-Mutual 46-26. The Lady Bearcats led 29-8 at halftime.

Nina Loucks scored 12 points to lead a balanced Fargo offense. Chelsay Adams had 10 for Sharon-Mutual.

In another 270 Conference doubleheader, Leedey and Fort Supply split games.

Leedey’s girls won 58-22 as Jordan Kauk scored 21 points and Courtney Ward 10.

In the boys game, Fort Supply posted a 72-64 victory.

Zach Hunter led the way for the Bulldogs with 37 points and Braden Smith scored 18.

Vici’s girls defeated Hammon 54-48 in a battle of top 15 girls teams.

Johna Gregory scored 19 points and Allison Arnold 18 for Vici. Hammon got 15 from Jacey Dean.

Vici’s boys rolled to a 69-33 victory with four players in double figures.

Forgan’s girls stunned Arnett 48-39 in overtime. Arnett won the boys game, 54-40 as Chris Stroup scored 24 points.
