BROKEN ARROW — Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Director Ricky Adams plans to add 17 agents to the agency’s roster by the end of the year as the agency rebuilds after a decade of budget cuts. 

A executive order continued by Gov. Kevin Stitt will prevent state agencies from renewing contracts with private lobbyist agencies. It was found that state agencies paid more than $1.5 million in each of the past two years on lobbying contracts with private firms.
