Paul W. Stanley, 47-year-old Woodward resident, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 in the Woodward Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2005 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Holdeman officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Paul Wesley Stanley was born Dec. 29, 1957 in Shattuck; he was the son of Marion Preston and Florence Correne (White) Stanley. He attended Woodward schools and graduated from Woodward High School in 1976. Paul had lived in Woodward his whole life.
Paul was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was an avid football fan and loved the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed music of all kinds and Paul enjoyed being around people and visiting.
Survivors include his father Marion Stanley and wife Willa Mae of Woodward; one sister, Florence Gathright of Clinton; one niece, Julie Gathright of Oklahoma City; one nephew, David Gathright of Longmont, Colorado; his aunt Marjie Crytzer of Bethany.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Stanley, his brother, Preston Stanley and his brother-in-law Gaylon Gathright.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church with the funeral home as custodian of the fund.
