The Woodward Senior Center will host a Baked Potato and Chili Dinner with a bake sale Monday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be a live music "jam session."

All proceeds raised during the even go to support the United Fund, which has its annual fundraising drive underway.

United Fund supports 10 area agencies including Cimarron Council Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma, High Plains Outreach Center, Legal Aid, Red Cross, Northwest Oklahoma Literacy Council, Panhandle Nutrition, Salvation Army and the Senior Center.

There are also two other fundraising events coming up during the United Fund Drive.

On Oct.23, the United Fund Mad Bash, a casino night and silent auction, is set from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Elks Lodge.

On Nov. 6, Kids Inc. will hold a chicken and noodle dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The goal for this year's United Fund Drive is $137,500, organizers said.
