The Woodward Board of Education will take action on a number of routine items Monday evening in a regularly scheduled meeting.
The meeting is at 6 p.m. in the school administration building.
The temporary budget for fiscal year 2020 is first up for temporary appropriation for General Fund, Coop Fund, Building Fund, Building Bond Fund, Transportation Bond Fund and Hawkins Teacher Recruitment Fund.
The board will take action on the financial reports for fiscal year 2020 followed by recommendations for Office Supply vendors; SPC Office Supplies and Devine’s Stationary based on highlighted line items as presented. The board will also vote on recommendations for Custodial Supply vendors; Jenkins & Price and Supply Works based on highlighted items as presented.
Members will take action on bids for 2019-2020 Radio Broadcasting Agreement followed by a resolution to endorse the CCOSA Blended/Virtual Learning Framework.
The board will take action on new encumbrances, claims, supplemental claims, and additional payroll for July 2019 followed by the possible approval of payroll encumbrances for July 2019 (official documentation will be presented to the Board at the August meeting).
In executive session, the board discuss the July District Personnel Report and the contract review for Kyle Reynolds, Superintendent of Woodward Public Schools. Once open session is reconvened, the board will vote on the two items.
The High Plains Board of Education will also hold its monthly meeting Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the school board room.
An executive session is planned to discuss several hires, including, a custodian, BES coordinator, two safety instructors and administrative assistant/attendance and a diesel instructor.
Votes are scheduled in open session.
A number of other mostly routine items and reports round out the agenda.
