The Northwest Oklahoma Alliance (NwOA) is bringing a panel of expert speakers to discuss broadband internet service in Northwest Oklahoma for the NwOA Networking Luncheon.

The luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, July 30, at the Woodward Conference Center beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The panel of speakers will included Brian Whitacre with Oklahoma State University, Jana Wallace with Panhandle Telephone Coop, and Blake Callaham with Pioneer Telephone.

Whitacre is a professor in the department of Agricultural Economics at OSU. His main area of interest is rural economic development, with a focus on the role that technology can play.

Wallace is the chief operations officer of Panhandle Telephone Cooperative, Inc. and its subsidiary, Panhandle Telecommunications Systems, Inc.

Callaham is the Division Manager of Marketing & Customer Service with experience in a number of operational capacities within Pioneer Telephone. His areas of responsibility at Pioneer include marketing, customer service & cellular/telco customer care.
