Romona White of Sayre will offer a workshop for artists who paint with oils. The workshop will be at the Pioneer Room in the civic center on Oct. 7-8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Tuition for the workshop is $100 and enrollment will be limited to 15 participants so that each may receive adequate individual attention. Early enrollment is encouraged because the workshop fills quickly.

White’s art education includes numerous workshops in addition to college level art classes. She has studied with Tony Couch, Doug Dawson, Ben Konis, Cletus Smith, Tom Lynch, Harold Scott, and others.

She has exhibited and received numerous awards at art shows in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico. White has had one woman shows at the Crawford County Art Association in Van Buren, Ark., The Short Grass Museum in Sayre, and The Plains Indians and Pioneers Museum. She has also exhibited at the Metcalfe Museum at Crawford, Oklahoma.
