Woodward's 18-under Travelers finished off a perfect weekend with a doubleheader sweep of Ardmore at Fuller Park Sunday.
The Travelers will take a 13-2 record to the Northern Oklahoma College Classic in Enid where they face the Oklahoma Mudcats today at 5:30 p.m., then Mustang and the Edmond Stars at noon and 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. All three games are at David Allen Memorial Park.
On Saturday, the Travelers edged Ardmore 5-4 to open a four-game series.
A four-run second inning put the Travelers ahead and Ardmore tied the game in the top of the fifth before Woodward scored what proved to be the winning run in the bottom half.
Caden Church pitched into the sixth inning for the win and Michael Wingfield had a pair of hits.
The Travelers won the second game 9-1, relying on big innings with three runs in the first and five in the sixth.
Parker Ward had a pair of hits and Jett Brown drove in three runs to pace the offense. Woodward only had five hits but benefitted from a pair of errors and several walks.
Dillon Bumgarner pitched six innings for the win.
On Sunday, a six-run second inning decided things early as Woodward won the opener 10-0.
Will Farr and Wingfield had three hits each to pace a 15-hit attack.
Brady Benedict and Ward each drove in a pair of runs and Brown and Patrick Hunter also had RBI.
Brown was the winning pitcher.
The final game ended up 12-8 in favor of the Travelers.
It started as a blowout with Woodward lead 12-2 after four innings, but Ardmore scored three in the fifth and three more in the seventh to make it closer.
Ty Bourland and Colten Hunter drove in three runs each for the Travelers.
After the games in Enid, the Travelers will be home for the weekend with games scheduled against Liberal, Kan., the Oklahoma City Branditos and a team from Las Vegas, Nev.
It will also be an alumni weekend.

Friday - 'Hang with 5 - a Traveler Gathering' at the Annex Sports Bar and Grill as alums will share stories with former coach Bob Ward and whoever else wants to attend. The event starts at 6 p.m.
Saturday - Golf at Boiling Springs Golf Club, 9 a.m., alumni meet at Fuller Park at 4:30 p.m. and recognition of alumni and new Hall of Fame members will start at 5 p.m. The current Travelers will wear throwback jerseys from the 1970s during the 6 p.m. game.
