Woodward County will have one school board race when election time rolls around in February.

Jeff McIntosh filed for the District 1 seat in Mooreland on Wednesday and will face incumbent Sally Miller in the annual school election.

In the other districts in the county, only one person filed.

Terry Nelson will serve a second term on the Woodward School Board, Ted Kyle will be returned to the High Plains CareerTech Board, and Kevin Townsend and Kevin Kornele will be back on their respective boards in Sharon-Mutual and Fort Supply.

There are some scattered races in area districts.

Three people are running for Office No. 1 in Shattuck, and three are also running in Taloga.

Other districts with races include Arnett, Vici, Beaver, Turpin and Balko.
