A Woodward man in jail on several felony charges including first degree rape (victim under age 14) was charged Monday with aggravated possession of child pornography.

The case was filed in Woodward County District Court.

Martin James Wiseman, 58, was charged with six felonies on Feb. 1 this year after a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) brought a minor victim forward to the Woodward County Deputy Sheriff Devin Farrow in January, according to the affidavit filed with those charges.

In the affidavit for probable cause filed with the most recent charge, Farrow states that upon searching Wiseman’s residence, a homebuilt desktop tower was found. After obtaining a search warrant for the computer, CFA Anthony Meter of Homeland Security Investigations reported approximately 147 child exploitation images, according to the affidavit.

The charge carries a penalty of not more than life and a fine not more than $10,000. Wiseman is currently in custody at Woodward County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

A preliminary hearing on the Feb. 1 charges was continued to Jan. 14, 2020.

There is no listing of a court date on the recent charge.
