The Fort Supply Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting tonight to address the resignation of 3 of its board members.
City Clerk Dani Wood said that Mayor Betty Winters and Trustees Ted Harvey and Rhonda Dickenson all recently submitted letters of resignation.
The News has requested copies of those resignation letters.
However, acceptance of those resignations is not among the action items on the agenda for the special meeting which will be held tonight (Tuesday, May 22) at 7 p.m. in the Fort Supply City Hall.
Instead the agenda calls for discussion and possible action on holding a special election in August for the election of board members.
The agenda also includes an item to discuss and/or take action to appoint interim board members until that election can be held.
Public comment will be allowed at the end of the meeting, however those wishing to speak must sign up in advance and their comments will be limited to 5 minutes each.
