Woodward City Commissioners took only about an hour to dispense of a lengthy agenda at their regular meeting Monday.

Commissioners received a report from Kenny Crawford of Accurate Environmental Services concerning the city treatment plant. Crawford reported that all was well with the plant.

Commissioners passed a resolution authorizing the use of parking spaces in the city parking lot by the Northwest Center for Behavioral Health.

Commissioners also passed a resolution declaring a public nuisance. The owners of the property in question located on 22nd Street reported to the board that everything will be cleaned up within 30 days.

Commissioners approved a lease agreement between the city of Woodward and the Woodward Municipal Authority and Allied Supply Chain Solutions, LLC. as well as a lease agreement between the City of Woodward and Woodward Golf and Country Club.

A bid from Circle S Paving of Clinton, Okla. was accepted concerning bids for type C asphalt concrete and tack coat for street overlay paving improvements.

Also approved was the use of escrow credit to reduce 2006-2007 fee for renewal of participation in OMAG workers’ compensation plan.

Commissioners completed their meeting by approving contracts between the city of Woodward and the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. The contract was for the city’s use of worker labor.
