The City Commission held their regular meeting Monday evening in the City Commission Room of City Hall.
The commission received its monthly report from Accurate Environmental Services.
Commissioners then broke out into executive session in which they receive confidential communication and advice from their legal counsel. They decided to take no action at the present time concerning the advice, which concerns pending litigation with Slattery Construction.
City Manager Alan Riffel then presented the commission with his report, in which he discussed the successful Emergency Management Conference which was hosted in Woodward this past weekend.
Riffel also discussed the progress of the city website, which despite being under construction has seen an amazing response from the public with hits on the website jumping from a few hundred a month to several thousand a day.
Commissioner Gary Goetzinger also had some positive news to report, noting that part of the walkway out to the floating dock on Experiment Lake was under water, which everyone agreed was a positive sign that more water is in the lake.
