Hunters who plan to participate in the fall 2018 and the Spring 2019 hunting seasons in Northwest Oklahoma should plan to attend the Hunter Education Course slated for September 15th.
The class begins at 8 a.m. and will break for lunch and then resume and will last until 5 p.m.
The event is offered by Woodward County Game Warden Mark Reichenberger and will take place at the High plains Technology Center located at 3921 34th St, Woodward, OK 73801..
The hunting education course is good for life and is reciprocated by other states. Reichenberger said.
Anyone who is 10-years-old or older can take the course, he said.
Hunters who wish to take the course need to preregister and show up 15 minutes early for the class.
“I think it is a good chance to get to know my hunters out there,” Reichenberger said. “I like to know my hunters and I like for them to get to know me too.”
