There’s a restaurant in town that some people might not remember to consider when they are trying to decide were to fulfill their cuisine cravings: The Grille.

Located in and operated by the Northwest Inn, The Grille has a wide variety of American food including menu items which are fitting for a fancy date or menu items for those “down home cookin’ ” cravings.

“We’re a full service restaurant,” said Executive Chef James Dixon. “We do everything.”

Dixon has had a lot of experience, working at the Stillwater Country Club, the Tulsa Marriott Southern Hills and even spent six years at a restaurant in Washington D.C. Prior to his experience as a chef, Dixon studied culinary arts at Northern Virginia Community College for three years.

The Grille will seat nearly 90 people in the restaurant area and also has two catering rooms that seat over 100 people each.

While The Grille has only been in operation for just under two years many Woodward citizens enjoy the dining experience at there.

“We have a lot of locals that come in,” said Dixon, who also said that they have also had visitors stop in to dine from places such as Paraguay, Africa, Spain and Japan.

On the weekends The Grille serves a breakfast buffet and on Sundays there is a lunch buffet menu.

The atmosphere of The Grille has a certain hint of elegance with an added feeling of leisure.

“I like to think we have a very friendly atmosphere,” said Dixon. “I say it’s top quality.”
