CLOYD J. CARPENTER, 73, of Raymore, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005. Cloyd was born on April 19, 1932 in Spearman, Texas. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Federal Crop Insurance Corp after many years of service. Cloyd was a member of South Haven Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Earl and Thelma (Jacobs) Carpenter. Among his survivors is his wife of 49 years, Gloria Carpenter, of the home; daughter, Karen A. Wilson and husband John of Topeka, Kan.; sons, Keven N. Carpenter of Bates City, MO and Kyle E. Carpenter of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Matthew Owen, Brandon Wilson and Katherine Wilson; sister, Opal Douglas and husband Frank, Tulsa, Okla..; and not to be forgotten his special kitty cat “Rascal”. Arrangments are under Mt. Washington Forever Funeral Home.
