Brandon Ray Allison, 24-year-old Woodward resident, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 south of Hammon, Okla. as a result of a traffic accident. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006 in the Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Brinkman officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Brandon Ray Allison was born June 20, 1981 in Woodward, Okla.; he was the son of Wesley Ray and Carmelita Iris (Eller) Allison. Brandon attended Horace Mann Grade School and graduated from Woodward High School in 2000. While in high school, he was involved in F.F.A. and he showed steers at livestock shows. During school he worked for his grandparents, Bob and Laquita Eller. Following his graduation, he started swamping in the oil field for Bill Cooper and also worked for Starr Lumber for a short time. He went to work for Lane’s Trucking. In July of 2005, Brandon bought his own truck and started Brandon Allison Trucking Company and continued working for Lane’s. Brandon was blessed with two children - Jaxon who was born June 18, 2004 and Ashton, who was born June 6, 2001 they were the light of his life.

On Feb. 14, 2006, Brandon was married to Jennifer Bourland at the Elks Lodge in Woodward. They made their home in Woodward.

Brandon loved four wheelers, dune buggies, yard work and water sports. He also loved being with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife Jennifer of the home; one son, Jaxon Ray Allison; one daughter Ashton Lorraine Allison; his parents, Wesley and Carmelita Allison of Woodward; one sister Tara Andrea and husband Steve of Woodward; paternal grandparents, Betty Allison; Bill Allison and wife Jana of Woodward; maternal grandparents, Bob and Laquita Eller of Woodward; uncles and aunts, Bill and Sandy Eller and their children, Shane and Sabrina; James "Bubba" and Donna Eller and their children, Garrett and Riley; Ronnie Allison and Teresa Wallace of Lewisville, Texas and daughter Shanna; Jimmy Allison and Tressie Harzman and daughter Amber; mother-in-law, Linda Bourland of Shamrock, Texas; father-in-law, Jerry Bourland and wife Ruth of Amarillo, Texas; one very special good friend and step-dad Bob Wood; other relatives and many good friends.

Brandon died with his brother Bryon whom he loved dearly.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jaxon and Ashton Scholarship Fund with the funeral home as custodian of the fund.
