Latta wedding

Elizabeth Leigh Merrifield and Tyler Remington Latta were united in marriage on August 8, 2009, at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. The Rev. Jason Warner officiated.

Merrifield is the daughter of Steve and Cindy Merrifield of Victoria, Minn. Her grandparents are John and Glenda Segress of Yukon and Jack and Colette Merrifield of Broken Arrow.

Latta’s parents are Kent and Lynda Latta of Gage. Grandparents are Jim and Phyllis Bohling of May and Dwight and Sue Latta of Ft. Supply.

Merrifield wore a white, flowing A-Line cut dress that featured a V-neck adorned with pearls and beads and ruche across the bodice of the dress and was completed with a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white flowers including dahlia, spray rose, ranunculus and blush dahlia accented with greenery.

Rebecca Merrifield served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leslie Morris, Jessica Bartley, Shelby Latta and man of honor, her brother, Matthew Merrifield. The bridesmaids wore soft grey floor length gowns with halter neck and empire waistline.

The best man was Riley Latta and groomsmen included Andrew Hardin, Robbie Hudson, Chris Young and Jesse Weninger. Each wore a black tuxedo with soft grey vest.

The reception was held at the same location and featured three cakes of various flavors decorated in blush pink.

After a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, the couple returned to their home in Irving, Texas.
