Indians win District C-1 championship


Woodward, Okla. — Fairview 35, OBA 22

Fairview wrapped up a home playoff game, twice battling back from first-half deficits to defeat Oklahoma Bible Academy.

OBA led 8-0 and 16-14 in the first half, but Fairview used a 21-0 run in the second half to open the gap.

Jacob Eischen's 33-yard run in the third quarter put the Yellowjackets ahead for good, then Brett Fast scored on a 16-yard run and hit Jaden Dillard with a 35-yard touchdown pass to make it 35-16.

OBA added a late touchdown.

Fairview will host Apache in the playoffs.

Buffalo 44, DCLA 12

Buffalo finished its season on a strong note overpowering Deer Creek-Lamont.

The Bison jumped out to a quick 16-0 lead and never trailed.

Christian Sarabia scored 5 touchdowns to lead Buffalo and Kyle Hash threw a pair of touchdown passes.

Sarabia had runs of 9, 35 and 18 yards and scoring catches of 20 and 15 yards.

Tevin Huenergardt had the other Buffalo touchdown.

Okeene 28, Mooreland 17

Okeene trailed 17-13 before a pair of Scott Dobrinski touchdowns allowed to Whippets to escape Enterline Field with the win.

In a back and forth game, Okeene opened the scoring on an 8-yard run by Cade Mitch. Bake Boeckman kicked the extra point.

The Bearcats countered with a 41-yard pass from Kyler Hensley to Landon Peach. Blake Murray added the conversion.

Dobrinski scored on a 4-yard run for a 13-7 Okeene lead, but the extra point try was blocked.

Murray's 39-yard field goal cut the lead to 13-10 at half-time;

The Bearcats took the lead in the third quarter on an 18-yard run by Hensley, but Okeene countered as Dobrinski returned a punt 50 yards for the go-ahead score, then added a 4-yard touchdown run later in the third period.

Seiling 58, Covington-Douglas 12

Seiling scored early and often to ends its season with a win.

The Wildcats built a 44-6 halftime lead and ended the game early in the third period.

Seiling rushed for 401 yards in the game and held Covington-Douglas to just 118 total yards.

Beaver 41, Turpin 20

Beaver ended an 8-game losing streak with a  41-20 victory over Turpin.

Hadley Skaggs scoed 6 touchdowns for the Dusters, who finish the season 2-8.

Skaggs had runs of 14, 7, 7, 6, 31 and 35 yards as he compiled 336 yards on 39 carries.

Jordan Lujan scored one touchdown and threw for another to pace Turpin.
