Woodward soccer

Adrian Reyes had the game’s only goal as the Boomers evened their District 4A-1 record with a 1-0 win at Elk City on Thursday.

The Boomers are 4-5 overall and 1-1 in league play with two district matches remaining.

Woodward’s girls lost 3-0 to Elk City and are 3-6 on the season, 0-2 in the league.

The teams play a non-district doubleheader against Elgin on Tuesday at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Game time for the girls is 3 p.m. with the boys at 5 p.m.

The girls then have a district match against Cordell at Boomer Stadium Thursday. Start time is listed at 7:30 p.m.
