Boomers fall to Elk City

Woodward, Okla. — Elk City raced to a 23-0 halftime lead and went on to defeat the Woodward Boomers 38-15 in District 4A-1 football action Friday night.

The loss dropped Woodward to 4-5 on the season and 3-3 in the district.

The Boomers will close out the regular season next week in Clinton.
