Woodward, Okla. — 32 year old Vici resident, Randy Michael Baumann passed away November 17, 2009 after an oilfield accident in Elk City, Oklahoma.  Randy was born September 7, 1977 in Oklahoma City to Terry and Esther Lynn (Wright) Baumann.  Bill Upchurch became his dad when Randy was only 2.

He is survived by his wife Ryann Clara Baumann, daughter Caitlynn Ryann Baumann, son Logan Xavier Baumann, parents Bill and Lynn Upchurch, one sister, other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Jerald Shaw Auditorium, Vici, Oklahoma with burial following in Sunnyside Cemetery.  Services arranged by Shaw Funeral Home, Vici, Oklahoma.  Condolences may be made to the family at

    Wilbur Paul Drake was born January 26, 1917 in Fargo, Oklahoma to Roy L. and Geneva I. (Covey) Drake. He grew up in the Sixteen Mile Community and graduated from Fargo High School in 1934. He married Zella M. Benger on June 3, 1938. They had three children, Barbara, Robert and Billy.

    Leo J. Hunter, 87 year old Woodward resident, died Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.

    Robert “Bob” Rader

    Robert “Bob” Rader was born on June 26, 1950, in Ft. Scott, KS to Charley O and Theora “Marie” (Ramsey) Rader. Bob and his family moved to Buffalo, OK when he was two years old. The Rader family were custom harvesters and spent many years traveling from South Texas to the Dakotas in the old “Palace.” In 1968 he graduated from Buffalo High School. On January 4, 1970, he married his high school sweetheart, Ronda Rogers, at the Paruna Baptist Church in the Paruna Community. Bob was drafted into the United States Army on February 4, 1970, where he joined the 82nd Airborne Division. He was honored to receive the Lieutenant Colonel Abbot E. Dodge Award for being selected as the Outstanding Rigger Student. He also received the National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge and many others. Bob was proud to serve his country and was honorably discharged on February 1, 1976.

    Lorena Rae Douglas Noah passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 30, 2010 at the age of 69 in her home at Twin Leaf Court in Midwest City, OK. Lorena was born on July 26, 1940 in Reydon, Oklahoma to Ira Wesley and Florence Douglas. She was the only daughter in a family with five brothers. Lorena grew up in Reydon and Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She moved to Leedey, Oklahoma where she married Fred Graham on December 3, 1961. Later the family moved to Woodward, Oklahoma. Her life was one of dedication to helping people and she was a woman of deep Christian convictions.

    Wanda Lea Martin, 72 year old Woodward resident, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at her home in Woodward. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Elmwood Cemetery with the Reverend Jeff Swigart officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
