    Max Harrell, 75 year old Springfield, Oregon and Gage, Oklahoma resident, died Saturday May 31, 2014 at his home in Gage. A private family burial will be held with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    James Albert Stubbs, Sr., 74 year old from Mooreland, OK, passed from this life on May 26, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. James had endured a lengthy battle with lung cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 29, 2014 in the First Baptist Church of Woodward with Dr. Guy McGraw officiating. Interment will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    A celebration of life for John Teal Meyer, 64, of Sharon will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Sharon United Methodist Church. Interment will immediately follow at North Persimmon Cemetery in Sharon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.

  • Wilbur Dean Helfrich

    Wilbur Dean Helfrich, known for his ability to turn what other individuals considered a piece of junk into a workable piece of machinery, was born February 17, 1944 at Medicine Lodge, KS and died May 25, 2014 at Woodward, OK. He basically spent his working life as a handyman, working as a salvage yard businessman, as an electrician, as a security guard, as a capable “fix-it man”. He also had a passion for the Word Of God as in 1997 he became an ordained minister through the Progressive Universal Life Church. He pastored in a number of non-denominational settings

    Jane McFeeters passed away February 5, 2014 at North Kansas City Hospital. Jane was born February 2, 1945 in Mooreland, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Marianna Wilson and sister, Marilyn. Jane married Merlin McFeeters in 1964 and was blessed with two sons, one daughter and seven grandchildren.

    James Colvard, 59 year old Woodward resident, died Monday, May 26, 2014 at his home. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at his home in Woodward. Cremation services were under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

  • Daniel Richard Stufflebean

    Daniel Richard Stufflebean, 56 year old resident of Mooreland, Oklahoma, passed from this life on May 22, 2014 in Oklahoma City. He was born February 5, 1958, to Ralph and Bertha (Loomis) Stufflebean in Woodward, Oklahoma. All of his schooling years were at Woodward Public Schools. Dan attended the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond from 1989 to 1992 receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree. After graduating college, he worked as a Chemist.

    Tina Chase, 30 year old Woodward resident died Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Mascarenas officiating interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

  • Nada Beth (Ladd) Rowland

    Nada Beth (Ladd) Rowland passed from this life on May 11, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. She was born June 18, 1943, to Loyd and Ilo (Helmick) Ladd in the home at Vici, OK. All of her schooling years were at Vici Public Schools. A few years later, she attended Enid School of Business earning her business degree, which she put to good use working at the Dodge City Sale Barn, various oilfield office jobs, managing apartment complexes and other business related jobs. She married Leroy Cunningham on June 12, 1959, and to this union one daughter was born, Tawnya LeAnn. In 1964, Nada Beth married Preston Beaty Osborn at Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in Dodge City, KS, for nine years.
