Woodward, Okla. — Billy Jade Cox Lowry, 26 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 south of Ft. Supply as a result of a automobile accident.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Gainer officiating.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.

 

Billy Jade Cox Lowry was born on April 18, 1987 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Bill Don Cox and Tammy Angela (Scurlock) Lowry.  Billy’s youngest years were spent growing up in Longdale and attending school at Canton Grade School.  In 1996, Tammy and Billy and his brother Chris, moved to Woodward where Billy spent the rest of his years.

 

Billy, Katie, and Aires made their home at the Kansas Street Apartments.

 

Billy passed from this life on October 24, 2013 around 9:30 p.m. in a fatal car accident that resulted in his death and also took the lives of his girlfriend Katie Peeples who was pregnant with their second child and Aries Jade Lowry their six month old daughter.  Billy was preceded in death by his dad, Bill Don Cox and his grandpa James Scurlock.  He leaves behind his two year old son, Grady Don Lowry Smith; his brother, Christopher Lowry and wife Vanessa and their two children, Harley and Dodge Lowry; his sister Dawn Phillips and husband Troy and their family who live in Colorado; grandma Mary Hudson of Inglis, Florida; his Aunt Mary Ann and her husband Roger Crossman and their five children and their five grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
