Woodward, Okla. —

Travis Keith Schickedanz, 42 of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, April 25, 2014 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Howe, pastor of the church, officiating and Donna Johnson assisting. Graveside Service will follow at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at Fargo Cemetery in Fargo, OK. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.

Travis was born June 18, 1971 in Amarillo, TX to Ray Steven and Beverly Kay (Kleffman) Schickedanz. Travis was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Boston Red Sox fan and especially enjoyed listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan. Travis was devoted to his family and friends and loved to make them laugh. He had been a resident of Amarillo for 20 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Dumas.

Travis will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his son: Dylan Blake Schickedanz, USAF; his parents: Steve and Kay Schickedanz of Dumas; one brother: Troy Schickedanz of Amarillo; a grandmother: Dorothy Schickedanz of Fargo, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
