Woodward, Okla. — Chris Waterman, 42 year old Woodward resident, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Shane Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward.

Chris Brian Waterman was born August 22, 1970 in Charleston, South Carolina to William and Diane (Meador) Waterman. Chris graduated high school from Senior High School in Vallejo, California in 1988. Chris spent many of his early years in Vallejo, California. He had many hobbies that included NASCAR, fishing, spending time at the lake with his dogs and especially spending time with his family.

Chris was united in marriage in Woodward, Oklahoma on July 13, 2001 to Katy Austin. This marriage produced one child Barbara Ann.

Survivors include his wife Katy Waterman of the home; two daughters, Barbara Ann Waterman of Woodward; Kimberly McDowell of Buffalo; mother, Diana Waterman and husband Kenneth Weeks of Vallejo, California; father, William Waterman of Woodbridge, Virginia; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn McDowell, Kelli McDowell, Kyle McDowell and Kaden Mcdowell all of Buffalo. Chris was also survived by special friends, who were like brothers Kenny Weeks and wife Violet of Vallejo, California and Timothy Weeks of Vallejo, California; other relatives and many friends.

Chris was preceded in death by one brother Philip Waterman and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
