Woodward, Okla. — Donna J. Jackson Parker, 71 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at her home in Woodward.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Mabra officiating.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.

 

Donna Jean (Blake) Jackson Parker was born on April 11, 1942 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Donald and Mildred (Hensley) Blake.  Donna was reared in Woodward and attended Woodward schools.  She was united in marriage to Andy Jackson in April of 1958.  They were blessed with two children, John Andy and Denise.  Donna worked at several different restaurants and in retail.

 

Donna was united in marriage to Jerry Parker on October 22, 1988.  They made their home in Woodward and have lived there since that time.

 

She is survived by her husband Jerry Parker of the home; children, John Jackson and wife Linda, Denise Miller; grandchildren, Rodney Jackson, Rachel Jackson Kahoe and husband Wesley, Rusty Jackson, Shila Miller Lyon; great-grandchildren, Raley, Caley and Rylan Kahoe, Maycie Jackson and Kaylee Jackson; Jerry’s children and ten grandchildren, who Donna treated as her own, Randy and Bobbie Parker, Billy and Robbi Parker, Tanya Parker, Shane and Chris Parker, and Denayne and Ken Prigmore; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers and sisters, Ann Spence, Naomi Ruppel, Cora Lee Myers, Bonnie Ruppel, Bill Morgan and Floyd Morgan.
