He loved to share his life stories with his family and anyone else that would listen. He had many tales to tell of hard times and good times. He worked a variety of jobs from owning his own spray paint company, working for a gas company, driving and working for Coca-Cola. Lloyd and Bessie owned and operated Lloyd’s Trading Post-Boot, Shoe and Saddle Repair Shop in Beaver, Oklahoma until their retirement and then moved to Woodward in 1997.  They have lived there since that time.

He is survived by his loving wife Bessie of 71 years of their home; two daughters Carolyn Casey and husband Tommy; and Janie Lacer all of Woodward; five grandchildren, Leona Piper and husband Jeff of Mooreland; Ron Casey of Woodward; Dell Riggs and wife Stephanie of Houston, TX; Brenda Nebhut and husband Terry of Vici; and Susan Riggs and fiance Wayne Morris of Lindsey; eight Great-grandchildren, LeTamra Nichols and husband Kent of Shattuck; Michael Riggs of College Station, TX; Nathan Piper of Mooreland,  Ryan Wolfgong of Woodward, Anthony Riggs of Oklahoma City; Megan Riggs of Edmond; Cinnamon Howell of Oklahoma City; and Kaley Wolfgong of Woodward; three Great-great grandchildren, Loreli Hendrix, Case Nichols and Daphne Lubber. He is also survived by one sister Bernita Horn of McAlester; and many other relatives  and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, 11 Brothers and Sisters.

Lloyd was born again August 18, 1988 and after coming to Christ he loved to tell the story of how Jesus saved him and to witness to anyone he could find.

He loved riding horses and teaching others how to ride cutting horses and was a “True Cowboy.”  He also loved hunting coyotes but his most favorite activity was playing with his Grandkids, Great-grandkids and Great great-grandkids.

Lloyd was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
