Woodward, Okla. —
Helen Annette Stewart, 55 year old former Woodward resident and current Satillo, Arkansas resident, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 in Conway, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Beau Hague officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Helen Annette (Scadden) Stewart was born on November 20, 1957 in Englewood, California to Earl and Margaret (Stockton) Scadden. Helen graduated from Woodward High School in 1976. She was united in marriage to Michial Dean Stewart on April 7, 1977 in Mooreland, Oklahoma.
Helen always made her home, her heart, and her life open to everyone. She never met a stranger. She was always willing and eager to defend and stand by what she believed and was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Her whole life revolved around and was dedicated to her husband, children, grandchildren, and the numerous friends she found along her journey. She loved to cook, camp, craft, spend time with her family, and enjoyed cheering on her husband and friends at the stock car races.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Scadden, and her father-in-law, Norton Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Michial Dean Stewart of the home; her mother, Margaret Scadden; brother and sisters, Carroll Shroyer, Dean Scadden, and Anita Thanschite; her children and their spouses, James Michial Stewart and Michele Stewart, Stephanie Brown, Heidi Stewart and Tristan Gossett; grandchildren include Austin Stewart, Isaac Stewart, Colton Brown, Hayleigh Stewart, Josh Stewart, Chloe Charlson, and Icsis Gossett; numerous other relatives and many friends.
