Woodward, Okla. —
Victor Aaron Beisel, son of Victor and Marie Beisel was born June 28, 1944 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. He was raised on the farm South East of Fargo, Oklahoma.
He graduated from Fargo High School and went on to NWOSU. There he got his degree in Industrial Arts Education and minored in music.
He married Diana Meyer on June 24, 1967 in Fort Morgan, Colorado. He taught
Music in Grover, Colorado and Industrial Arts in Higgins, Texas but was drafted into the Military. While there he was an airframe repair instructor.
He is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Marie Beisel and son Nathaniel Aaron Beisel.
Surviving him are his daughter, Lisa Marie Plante and son-in-law Daniel W. Plante and granddaughter, Alisha Nicole Plante, and grandson Eli Daniel Plante; Son Joseph Anthony Beisel and daughter-in-law Jamie Beisel and granddaughter Jordan Lee Beisel.
While farming and raising Hereford Cattle he was involved with the USDA research on old world bluestem grasses. He worked with Chet Dewald and designed the Woodward Flail Vac. He also has numerous patents on other grass seed equipment.
He has been very active in the St. Paul Congregational church at Shattuck, Oklahoma.
He loved his Lord and enjoyed serving him in the church as trustee, deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, choir director and youth band Director.
Aaron was the most loving son, husband, father and grand papa.
The family suggests memorials be made to the St. Paul Congregational Church, 917 South Olive, Shattuck, Oklahoma 73858.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fargo United Methodist Church in Fargo,OK with Reverend Matt Spurgin of the St. Paul Congregational Church of Shattuck officiating. Interment was in the Fargo Cemetery, Fargo , OK with the Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck, OK in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.masonfuneralservice.com .
