She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Woodward and was active in the UMW Phoebe Circle.  She also participated in Delta Sorosis, the Woodward County Demonstration  Club, and she volunteered as a “Pink Lady”, later known as the Woodward Regional Hospital Auxiliary, at the Woodward Hospital where she accumulated over 5000 hours of service.  She was an avid and competitive card player and in later years enjoyed many activities at the Senior Citizens Center in Woodward.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who always made time for her family.
