Woodward, Okla. — Dorothy Ann Arthaud, 65 year old Shattuck, Oklahoma resident transitioned from this life to her heavenly home on November 2, 2013 at the Shattuck Nursing Home. Dorothy was born to Johnny J. and Leaun Evelyn Crowder Campbell on October 2, 1948 at Laverne, Oklahoma. Dorothy attended Gage Public Schools graduating with the Class of 1966.

Dorothy married Joe Wilson and this union was blessed with two daughters, Kelly and Tracy. The family traveled the world to many duty stations, including Ft. Carson, Korea, Ft. Sam and Ft. Bragg. Dorothy worked as an office manager and performed many accounting duties.


Dorothy’s family was very important to her. She loved her grandsons. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, cooking and loved traveling. Dorothy accepted the Lord as a teenager and was baptized.  She attended the Christian Church when health allowed.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Campbell, mother Leaun Crowder, step-father Jimmy Crowder, brothers-in-law Bill Houston and Kevin Diercks. Survivors include, daughters, Kelly Monaghan and husband Dale of Enterprise, AL and Tracy Halley and husband Don of Sharon, OK; sisters, Barbara Diereks of Seiling, OK, Delores Houston of Geary, OK, Janet Pierce of Horton, KS, and Cissie Nunez of Shattuck, OK; brother Terry Crowder of Watonga, OK; grandsons, Garrett Hitt of Auburn, AL, Grant Monaghan of Enterprise, AL and Tyler Halley of Sharon, OK; 3 nieces, 7 nephews, 11 great-nephews, 4 great-nieces, 1 great great-nephew, other family and many, many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday November 6, 2013 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, Gage, Oklahoma with interment following in Gage Memorial Cemetery, Gage, Oklahoma. Condolences may be made to the family and Memorial Tribute viewed at Shaw Funeral Home of Shattuck
