Woodward, Okla. — Katie Peeples, 22 years of age and her six month old daughter, Aries Lowry, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident south of Ft. Supply.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013 in the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, Lincoln Campus with the Reverend Jason Dirks officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.


Katie Leann Peeples was born on August 14, 1991 in Woodward, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Jack Edward and Sandra Elaine (Brawner) Peeples.  Katie spent her early childhood in Woodward and attended Woodward Public Schools during her elementary school years.  Katie’s family moved to southwest Oklahoma during her high school years.  Katie attended Hobart and Elk City Public Schools.  She received her diploma in 2010.


On October 23, 2008, Katie was blessed with her first child, Eli Jackson Peeples.  He was the love of her life, always making his Momma smile.


On April 11, 2013, Katie and Billy Lowry welcomed a daughter, Aries Jade Lowry.  Aries was a happy, enjoyable baby.  She was always smiling.  Aries was a total Mamma’s Girl.  She was a very determined child, stubborn like her Mom.  Aries was determined that she was going to start crawling when she was good and ready.


Katie is survived by a son, Eli Jackson Peeples of Sayre; parents, Sandra and Richard Turner of Sayre;  sister, Caycee Erickson and husband Jason of Taloga; and their children, Madison, Morgan and Marshall; sister, Kallie Weas and husband Kent of Elk City; and their daughter, Payton; sister, Jamie Peeples; and brother, Jeremy Peeples both of Ponca City; grandparents, Billy and Florence Charmasson of Woodward; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.


Katie was preceded in death by her father, Jack Peeples and one niece, Kendall Jae Weas.
