Janis Sue Doom, 50 year old Woodward resident passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 in Enid. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday August 9, 2013 at The Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Janis Sue Heusel; the daughter of Reverend Clinton and Alice (Boyce) Heusel. Was born May 25, 1963 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was raised in the Woodward area graduating with the class of 1981. Janis attended High Plains Vo-Tech in Woodward and obtained her LPN degree. Janis worked as a home health professional.

Janis had many hobbies including cooking, fishing, working crosswords and was an avid animal lover. What brought Janis great joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Janis is survived by her mother Alice Heusel Johnson of Enid; two sons, Curtis Edwards and Kevin Edwards both of Woodward; one daughter Kendra Hutchens and husband John of Woodward; three grandchildren Averi Edwards, Maci Edwards and Gage Hutchens; one brother Wes Heusel and wife Michelle of Pueblo, Colorado; two sisters Deborah Gore and husband Warren of Woodward and Helen Mitchell and husband Randy of Enid. Janis is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Janis was preceded in death by her father Reverend Clinton Heusel and brother Donald Ray Heusel. Remembrances may be shared at www.billingsfuneralhomewoodward.com
