Woodward, Okla. — Thelma Lee Olmstead (formerly Thelma Lane) of Jones, Oklahoma died Monday, May 28, 2013.

She was born to parents Goldie and Forrest Shreves April 4, 1932 in Seminole, Oklahoma.  She married Bill Olmstead on Feb. 12, 1988 in Oklahoma City.

She loved her family, traveling, and working.  She worked at the Corporation Commission in Well Records in Oklahoma City for the past seventeen years.

She was formerly married to Phillip E. Lane of Woodward, Oklahoma where they lived for many years.

 

She is survived by her husband, Bill Olmstead of Jones, Oklahoma; a brother, Forest Shreves of New Braunfels, Texas; her daughters, Teni Dennison and Tammie Lane both of Aspen, Colorado; two granddaughters, Susan Floyd of Hampton, Georgia and Nancy Miller of Fargo, Oklahoma; three great- granddaughters Addison Floyd, Jada Smith, Katie Miller and many nieces and nephews. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and wife. She will be greatly missed.
