Woodward, Okla. —
Debbie Terry, 58 year old Woodward resident, went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 26, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Woodward Bible Baptist Church with the Reverend Jeff Swigart officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home of Woodward.
Debra Lynn (Arnold) Terry was born on September 22, 1953 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Harry and Gretah (Story) Arnold. She attended Woodward schools and graduated from Woodward High School in 1971. Debbie worked at the OARC as a house parent. She enjoyed crafts, helping with the Woodward Relay for Life and was involved with ABATE.
Debbie loved spending time with her family and always enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s games and activities.
She is survived by her parents, Harry and Gretah Arnold; one son, Mike Terry and wife Teresa of Gilmer, Texas; two daughters, Brandi McCubbin and husband Allen of Longview, Texas and Amber Terry of Woodward; three sisters Vickie Pennington of Edmond, Linda Dunlap and husband Jimmy of Elk City, Sharon Miller of Woodward; five grandchildren Kiesta, Austin, Cheyanne, Cierra, and Cree; her very special companion her dog, Chico; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pluma and Harold Story and Milroy and Minnie Arnold.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
