In memory of Margaret Lee Cline Kincaid 1936-2014
Maragret Lee Cline Kincaid departed this life and entered eternity February 8, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City after battling multiple sclerosis for many years.
Margaret was born the fourth of six dchildren to Sarah Ann Long Cline and Arthur Leroy Cline on April 17, 1936 in Thomas, Oklahoma. Later, the family moved to a farm in the Parallel community. She attended grade school at Parallel and attended high school at Putnam. She graduated from Taloga High School.
She married Donald Lee Kincaid on May 17, 1953 and they farmed in the Putnam area. They had four daughters, Sharon Lee, Mary Jo, Ginger Diane, and Mitzie Lee.
Margaret was an active farm wife helping Donald Lee with all aspects of the farm. She was a member of the Putnam Christinan Church since her youth. In later years she was active at the Putnam Senior Center, helping with the third Sunday dinners and other events by keeping attendance records and collecting money for their dinners. Her cheerful smile welcomed those who visited the center She enjoyed playing dominoes with friends at the center as oftern as her health allowed.
Margaret is preceded in death by daughter Mary Jo, her parents Sarah and Arthur Cline, brother Earl Cline of Taloga and sister Betty Jo in infancy. She is survived by Donald Lee of the home, daughters Sharon Hoover and husband David Alpena Arkansas; Ginger Smith and husband Jerry of Katy, Texas; Mitzie Eaton and husband Steve of Yukon. Her grandchildren included Emily Hoover, James and Jeremy Smith and Nickie and Larmie Eaton. She is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Ann Stotts and husband Everett of Seiling; Sara Sue Boyle and husband Elwyn of Woodward, one brother, Dan Cline and wife Betty of Taloga and Sister-in-law, Doretta Cline of Taloga. Also surviving were nieces and nephews: Barbara Patrick ,Dorothy Nipp, Becky Freeman, Coweta Donnell, LeRoy Stotts, Monte Stotts, Evelyn McAleney, Sherry Lindley and Scott Boyle.
Service were held on Thursday, February 13th at 2:00 p.m. At the Putnam Christian Church, officiated by Reverend Dsavid Beck. In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the Putnam Senior Center, Rt. 1, Boc 358, Putnam, OK 73659, or the Oklahoma Medical Reseach Foundation in Oklahoma City. Burial was in Mound Valley Cenetery in Thomas, Oklahoma under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.
