Woodward, Okla. — Auda Morrow, 82 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at her home in Woodward.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jason Dirks officiating.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.


Auda Floy Morrow was born on March 23, 1931 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Robert Floyd “Bob” and Drula Mae (Maulsby) Covalt.  Her early childhood was spent in Waterford, California.  They returned to Oklahoma when Auda was ten.  She attended school in Fort Supply through her Junior year in high school, then Auda graduated from Woodward High school in 1949.  In 1960, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and worked for the Federal Government at Mercury, Nevada at the Test Site until her retirement in 1990.  Auda moved back to Woodward in 2004 to be near her family.


She was baptized into the Church of Christ as a teenager.


She is survived one sister, Myra Long of Woodward; nieces and nephews, Marshall and JB Bittner, Penny and Mike Hopper, Jeri and Robert Dwinelle, Karla and Mark Taylor, Greg and Tammy Jensen; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessica Bittner-Turner, Drew Long, Riley Gaston, Tyson Hopper, Trista Hopper, Jenny Hopper, Karissa and Karenna Taylor, Nicholas and Zachery Jensen; one great-great nephew Christopher Turner; Lisa Mills, her caregiver of three years, other relatives and many friends.


She was preceded in death by parents, Bob and Drula Covalt, sister Sue Ann Jensen, a brother-in-law, Alvin Long and a nephew Andy Joe Long.
