Woodward, Okla. —
Terry Lee Crowder, 59 year old Watonga, OK resident went to be with his Lord on June 11, 2014 near Gage, OK. He was born July 6, 1954 at Woodward, OK to James and Leaun Crowder.
Terry grew up in Gage, OK playing basketball and running with friends. He worked for Jimmy Glee Thurmond, riding horses and working as a ranch hand. He drove a truck many years working for Hamm & Phillips, Petco, J&L and Wheeler Brothers.
Terry loved animals; his horse and dog’s Chigger & CeCe whom he treated like his children. Terry enjoyed spending time at the local coffee shop, telling some true stories and some not so true. He loved playing cards and going to the casino with his companion Johnnie and friend Mickey Hedrick, where everyone knew him by name.
Terry accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young teenager and was baptized into the Church of God in Gage.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, James and Leaun Crowder, sister, Dorothy Arthaud, brother-in-laws Bill Houston and Kevin Diercks.
Terry is survived by two sons, John Henry Crowder of Mississippi and Dustin Boeckman of Oakwood; companion Johnnie Ford of Watonga; five grandchildren; sisters, Delores Houston of Geary, OK, Janet Pierce of Horton, KS; Cissie Nunez and husband Octavio of Shattuck, OK and Barbara Diercks of Seiling, OK; many neices, nephews other family and a host of friends.
Terry will be truly missed by all who new him. Rest in peace Unc…
