Woodward, Okla. — Beryle Leroy Gastineau, 71 year old Mooreland resident died Sunday, July 28, 2013 in Mooreland. Cremation will take place with a graveside to be held Friday August 2, 2013 at Mound Cemetery in Taloga with Scott Ware officiating. Services are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.

Beryle Leroy Gastineau was born September 18, 1941 in Taloga to Bert and Helen (Gates) Gastineau. He was reared in the Quinlan and Mooreland area. He graduated from Mooreland High School in 1961.

Beryle proudly served his country in The United States Army from 1962-1968. After his time in the military Beryle worked as a roustabout with Diamond Construction until he was injured on the job and disabled.

Beryle had many special interests like walking, reading western books and watching any type of sports television. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan. He was brought great joy by his nieces and nephews who would come and visit.

Survivors include one brother John Gastineau and wife Carol of Woodward; and one sister Anna Faye Hensley and husband Leroy of Great Bend, Kansas; also several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded by his parents one sister Lois Wright and one brother Gene Gastineau.

Memorials may be made to Quinlan United Methodist Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
