Charles Edward “Eddie” Luellen

Woodward, Okla. —

Charles Edward “Eddie” Luellen was born in Mooreland, OK on February 28, 1943 to Clarence Edward and Lydia Luellen. He passed away on December 18, 2013 at Veteran's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

He attended both Mooreland and Woodward Schools. In 1966, he joined the Army and later received a medical discharge. At the age of 14, he began playing the guitar and singing, with several groups in this area, for dances and parties. He worked in construction and insulation on homes. He also worked as a maintenance worker in a hospital.

He leaves behind his wife, Ruby of the home in Guthrie, OK; one son, Jesse Edward Luellen & wife; two grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob; one sister, Lula May Lanham and many neices and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, one sister, Virginia Keller, two brothers, Vernie Ray and Bobby Gene, one half brother Earl Ernst, and two brothers-in-law William Lanham and Coy Keller. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. December 27, 2013 at Bible Baptist Church in Woodward, OK. A private family burial will be held at Mooreland Cementary following the memorial.
