Woodward, Okla. — Iva Berry, 100 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Woodward. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30,2013 in the Mooreland Cemetery with Reverend David Houchin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home of Woodward.

Iva Pearl (Maddux) Berry was born on May 27, 1912 in the Haskew Community to Charles Dillard and Alice (DuVall) Maddux. She was reared in the Haskew community and attended the Freezeout School near Haskew. On September 10, 1929, she was united in marriage to John Dillard Berry in the Haskew Community. She worked in the agriculture field and as a school cook during her working career. Iva enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, fishing, and spending time with her family, as well as traveling.

Iva was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mooreland. Some of her best memories came from being with her church family.

She is survived by one son Willard Berry of Hayden Idaho; one daughter Reta Emry of Oroville, Washington; grandchildren Lisa Spinks, Cheyle Douglas, Larry Roberts, Debbie Roberts, Tammie Roberts and Sandra Roberts; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John Dillard in 1982.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Mooreland with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
