Johanna Jones, 55 year old Woodward resident died Friday, August 16, 2013 in Woodward. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating.

Johanna Mae Brant was born in Woodward, Oklahoma on January 23, 1958 to John Thomas and Juanita (Phillips) Brant. Johanna and her family moved to Dodge City, Kansas when she was young. Johanna was reared in Dodge City where she lived with her aunt and uncle Stella and Harold Phillips. She attended school and graduated from Dodge City High School with the class of 1976. On November 14, 1981 Johanna was united in marriage to Michael Elliott in San Diego, California. Johanna was blessed with two sons, Jeff and John.

Johanna worked in the medical claims department in the insurance field. She had many hobbies which included reading and watching old television shows, especially The Andy Griffith Show.

Johanna is survived by two sons, Jeff Elliott and John Elliott both of Moore; her mother, Juanita Phillips; one sister, Carolyn Frazier of Woodward; one step-sister, Peggy Evanoika of Montrose, California; one step-brother, Raymond Main of Alaska; two special cousins, Teresa Parker of Woodward; and Scott Gaston of Webb; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
