Woodward, Okla. — Woodward Board of Education members will hold 2 executive sessions at Monday's monthly meeting.

First, board members will convene behind closed doors to "discuss the educational records of a minor student whereby disclosure of any additional information would violate FERPA (privacy rights)."

After the session an item to approve, disapprove or amend the recommendation of the Superintendent regarding discipline of the "minor student" is set for a vote.

The second executive session is basically a routine one to fill several positions - a monthly occurrence. Board members will discuss and vote on hiring a bus driver, teacher for Highland Park, teacher for middle school and high school assistant baseball coach, early childhood center/middle school special education paraprofessional, a counselor at Cedar Heights and a teacher at the early childhood center.

Board members will also consider a corrective deed for a piece of property purchased from the Woodward Public Schools by Travis Cook and Shelley Cook on Dec 19, 2008. The property involves 7.354 acres. There was no additional information on the agenda concerning what is being corrected.

Other agenda items include routine reports, updates and claims.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the school administration building, 1023 10th St.
