Woodward News

Woodward, Okla. — Cedar Heights Elementary School will hold its 15th annual chili supper and auction on Monday.

The event starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m., said Kelly Burton with the school's Parent-Teacher Organization.

Funds from the chili supper and auction assist the school in a number of areas and this year will go toward technology, Burton said.

A silent auction goes from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the live auction from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Items are donated by local businesses and individuals in the community.

Some of the items in the live auction include a signed Brad Paisley guitar, Stoney Larue concert tickets, a kindle, Oklahoma City Thunder ticks, autographed OU and OSU footballs and more. The items also include classroom baskets put together by each classroom after students selected a theme.
