Woodward, Okla. —
Woodward City Commissioners approved a lease-purchase for maintenance and golf equipment for Boiling Springs Golf Course during their meeting Monday.
The lease-purchase was between the Woodward Municipal Authority, the City of Woodward and TCF Equipment in the amount of $164,327.
The lease purchase allows the management company, Dunn Golf Group, to have updated equipment such as golf carts and maintenance equipment on hand without issuing debt, according to City Manager, Alan Riffle.
Two others action items on the agenda, a rezoning request and an approval of a reworded contract between the City of Woodward and Dunn Golf Group, LLC were tabled for later meetings.
The restatement of the management agreement between the city, Woodward Municipal Authority and Dunn Golf Group, was tabled for further review, said City Finance Officer, Doug Haines.
The rezoning request by Bryce Hodgden to change an area around the 300 block of Downs from R-1 single family dwelling to C-2 general commercial district, was postponed until all the parties could be present, Riffle said.
In other business, commissioners approved a resolution that will create an ordinance which will set forth parking spot standards for all new construction.
