Projects on city agenda

Woodward, Okla. — Renovation and construction projects are the theme for the Woodward City Commission's regular meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in City Hall.

The softball complex project at Crystal Beach Park, the new fire station project and the Boiling Springs Golf Course project are all on the city agenda.

Commissioners are slated to vote on an agreement with Studio Architecture, P.C. for architectural services for the softball complex.

They will also consider a construction manager agreement with Joe D. Hall General Contractors, LLC for the proposed new fire station.

For the golf course project, the commissioners are slated to affirm the assignment of the management agreement with Dunn Golf Group, LLC to Dunn Golf Management Group, LLC.  According to information in the city agenda packet, this assignment of the agreement is "simply a name change."

Also related to the golf course project, city commissioners acting as the Woodward Municipal Authority will act on a lease agreement with Yamaha Motor Corporation USA for the lease of golf carts.

Commissioners will be address several items routinely considered around the end of each Fiscal Year.

They include:

• a report from and renewal of interlocal agreement with Western Plains Youth and Family Services relative to the Community Intervention Center which handles youthful offenders;

• the renewal of the city's agreement with Crawford & Associates, P.C. for accounting and consulting services; and

• an executive session for the purpose of an annual performance review of City Manager Alan Riffel with respect to consideration of renewing his employment contract for the next year.
