Woodward County Commissioners attended to mostly routine details Monday at the their regularly scheduled meeting held at the Woodward County Courthouse Tuesday.
Commissioners approved the country treasurers monthly report as well as the monthly reports for September of other county officers.
Commissioners also approved the payment of $450 for annual dues tot he National Association of Counties.
According to Woodward County Commissioner, District 1, Tommy Roedell, the association works with counties and advocates on their behalf regarding land use protections as well as informing county governments of changes in laws that could affect them.
Roedell serves on the NACO political action energy committee, which has been working to move the status of the Keystone Pipeline out of its political impasse, he said.
NACO also helps commissioners stay abreast of federal issues that could affect county governance, he said.
